Implementation of standard reports to analyse sales

Challenge

We provided our services to a client who was in the process of implementing SAP HANA and his request was to develop a standard report in order to analyse sales. We prepared a sales report for 22 company codes from controlling documents.

Approach

The request was to present monthly figures in document currency. In order to complete this task we had to evaluate the postings from controlling that are only in local currency in the sales document currency, based on past exchange rates or constant exchange rates.

Results

This report helped improve the internal control process, reconcile figures with other applications (Business Intelligence or FI module) and understand sales. Transactions used: KE24, OBO8 and optional is COPA (KE30m KE35).
